Parthenium hysterophorus L.;

Annual herbaceous weed; leaves alternate, simple but twice pinnately divided into more or less linear segments; heads white, in cyme-like groups; ray florets minute.

Standley (1930) reports that infusions of the plant have been used as an emmenagogue.
