Michael Stucky (the next generation!) next to Golden or white poppies, cultivated for their seed by Nathan Stucky. These heirloom plants were brought to the US by Nathan's family in 1874, having been grown by his Swiss-German Mennonite family who lived in the Ukraine. They were grown in Kansas until 2004 when Nathan brought some seed to Carbondale.
