The White Oleander (Nerium oleander) is a small flowering tree in the Apocynaceae family.
It is common in tropical and sub-tropical regions from northern Africa to the Mediterranean, Europe, Caucasus, and Asia, and to many regions worldwide.
It grows to 2-6 metres (7-20 feet) tall.
The sap from the bark may cause skin irritations.
Its dark-green leaves are in pairs, measuring 5-21 centimetres (2-8 inches) long.
It has white, pink, or red five-lobed flowers that grow in clusters at the end of each branch. They measure 2-5 centimetres (1-2 inches) in diameter.
The fruit is a long, narrow pair of follicles, which splits open to release seeds.
The White Oleander blooms in summer.
