Jorge Luis Pinto, manager of the Costa Rica national football team, released his 23-man list for this summer's World Cup on late May.
Costa Rica only have two preparation matches before the tournament starts—against Japan on June 2 and the Republic of Ireland on June 7.
For those friendlies, Pinto will play with his final squad although he will not have Alvaro Saborio under his command, as the forward injured his foot in a training session and underwent surgery.
