Paul Aguilar may not be a youngster, but he certainly has what it takes to make a difference on the pitch.

His experience and commitment set him apart as one of the players European teams should be following.

The 28-year-old Mexico international made quite an impression during the 2014 World Cup, where he proved that he is a fast and reliable right-back.

Aguilar played as a forward until he was a teenager, then he turned into a defender, which has been one of the best decisions he has made.

Here are five teams that should consider signing him before the transfer window closes.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have recently loaned Jack Hunt to Championship club Nottingham Forest, as published on the club's website.

This move leaves the Eagles with one fewer right-back. Aguilar can fit in Tony Pulis' team, and he could very well give Joel Ward a run for the starting position.

Ward, who has been the club's first pick since 2013, hasn't been very sharp in the attacking zone.

According to Squawka.com, his shot accuracy was 45 percent, and he only won 61 percent of the duels in which he was involved.

Liverpool

Last season Liverpool suffered in the back line, mainly because Glen Johnson wasn't at his best.

His ball control and crossing have been the weakest parts of his game. WhoScored.com reported that last season he appeared 29 times but only made one key pass and two assists.

Johnson also played twice in Brazil 2014, where he made 2.5 tackles per game. As expected, he didn't make a real difference for England.

Angel del Real of AS (in Spanish) recently reported that Liverpool are closing in on a one-year long deal with Atletico de Madrid's full-back Javier Manquillo.

Although this could hurt Paul Aguilar's hopes of playing for the Reds, the Mexican has a lot more experience than the 20-year-old Spanish footballer.

Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad have started with Carlos Martinez on the right flank for a couple of years now, but the team could do so much better.

Martinez won 57 percent of the duels in which he was involved, while his passing accuracy was 73 percent and he created 10 goal opportunities in the 2013-2014 season, as per Squawka.com.

Paul Aguilar's pace and ball possession would adjust perfectly in the Txuriurdin's scheme. His endurance and speed allow him to run up and down on a regular basis.

Swansea City

Angel Rangel has been in charge of Swansea's right flank since he arrived in 2007. However, he is not getting any younger.

Last season he missed the last couple of weeks due to an injury, leaving the Swans with a defensive dilemma.

Rangel's contract ends in 2015, which means the timing is perfect for Paul Aguilar's arrival. The Mexican would have one season to settle down and prove that he has what it takes to take over the starting position.

The Spaniard is one of the toughest defenders in the Premier League, but he lacks power in the attacking zone.

West Ham United

West Ham United have been looking to sign Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson, according to The Daily Mail's John Drayton.

The Gunners announced the signing of French right-back Mathieu Debuchy, whose performance at the 2014 World Cup caught the attention of Arsene Wenger.

The Hammers haven't broken the top 10 since they returned to the Premier League. They will try to finally make it happen in the 2014-2015 season, but they'll need to strengthen their squad without making a huge investment.

Paul Aguilar could definitely help them with the task. His confidence with the ball and balancing skills are a very valuable asset when he joins the attacking zone.
