Chelsea appear to have started their summer shopping early, with rumours Jose Mourinho will soon move for Felipe Anderson and Emmanuel Emenike.

The Daily Telegraph says the Blues are preparing a £29 million raid to capture Brazilian under-21 starlet Anderson from Lazio, whose form has exploded for the Roman club this term.

The British publication also confirms the attacker recently signed a new deal with the Serie A team until 2020, but this will not stop The Special One from trying to capture his target.

Anderson is now considered one of Italy's hottest prospects after a slow start in the capital city.

The attacker can play in a variety of positions, happy on both sides of the pitch in the wider roles but also capable of playing central midfield.

Mourinho could utilise a player with such a skill set, with the ability to run at defenders and integrate smoothly into Chelsea's current tactics and philosophy.

James Horncastle of BT Sport highlighted the player's wonderful recent record, proving why he is now so highly sought after:

Felipe Anderson has combined for 15 goals, 7 assists and 8 goals, in his last 11 games.

The 21-year-old's form has helped Lazio climb the Serie A table, with the club currently the form team of the Italian league with maximum points from their last six games.

Paolo Menicucci of UEFA.com recently profiled the burgeoning talent and quoted Sampdoria manager Sinisa Mihajlovic speaking about the impressive youngster, comparing him to one of the greatest attackers of the modern era:

"Felipe Anderson looked like Cristiano Ronaldo tonight. He was man of the match by a mile. How would I have dealt with him? I'd have given him a few kicks, certainly. But to do that you have to catch him first."

The Daily Telegraph also confirms Chelsea are likely to move for Emmanuel Emenike from Fenerbahce, who was recently racially abused by his own supporters, prompting the striker to look for a move away from the club.

Ben Jefferson of the Express says Mourinho could experience competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, but the Blues are the most likely team to pursue the player.

Jefferson quotes a source close to Emenike speaking to AfricanFootball.com about the striker's situation, saying:

"Emenike is not happy with what he is going through with the Fenerbahce fans. He is preparing his mind to be fit for a possible summer move. He has lots of options which include teams from Italy, but England looks like his next destination."

Media pundit Jason Roberts commented on the player's racism issues in Turkey after the player forced his own substitution in light of the abuse he suffered:

Anderson and Emenike would be progressive signings for Chelsea, as Mourinho looks to build genuine depth in his attack.

Anderson has excelled in Serie A since Christmas, and his range of skill makes him a typical Chelsea player, with the ability to play in a variation of attacking positions much like Willian, Oscar and Eden Hazard

One more exceptional season could see Anderson's price rocket, so Mourinho will know that his signing—even at close to £30 million—would represent good value in the current market.

The 27-year-old Emenike is somewhat of a journeyman footballer, never spending more than two seasons at any of the several clubs he has represented.

However, he does have an eye for goal and would be a suitable replacement for Didier Drogba, should the legendary player not continue with Chelsea next term.

Both players would strengthen Chelsea's front line for a new assault on Europe and would add excellent cover for Diego Costa, as the Spaniard continues to suffer with minor injury.
