Lucas Moura, Yacine Brahimi and Petr Cech are the latest players to be linked with a move to Arsenal as Gunners fans prepare for what is looking likely to be a busy summer.

Arsene Wenger is allegedly among the managers "on alert" over a potential deal for Paris Saint-Germain's Lucas, according to Ben Jefferson of the Express. Jefferson cites French publication Le10Sport when suggesting the Ligue 1 champions will offer Lucas a new deal worth £52,000 per week, well below the £82,000 per week wage he allegedly wants.

Lucas is very much in the Arsenal mould, yet he suffers with the same tendencies of Theo Walcott. His explosive pace and dribbling skills can change matches in an instant, but the 22-year-old isn't a consistent deliverer of the ball and is yet to mark himself as a prolific goalscorer. Seven strikes and three assists in 24 league appearances, per WhoScored.com, is just the tip of what Moura can offer.

The player previously suggested Chelsea could be the English club for him, per Jefferson:

David (Luiz) was very enthusiastic about Chelsea and if you follow anything of football these days you have to know they are a force to be reckoned with. But PSG had a project that looked quite interesting because they wanted to do something similar to what happened at Chelsea. And they also have a lot of Brazilians there.

Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Jamie Sanderson of the Metro) suggests Arsenal "are pushing" to sign Porto star Brahimi. It's suggested the Algerian's £33 million release clause would need to be triggered for this to happen, but after a stunning debut season in Portugal, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Brahimi snapped up.

The 25-year-old has scored five and assisted three in seven Champions League appearances this campaign, ranking him among the tournament's best performers, per WhoScored.com. He is a crafty attacking midfielder, someone who can play through the middle or on the flank, and a genuine goalscoring threat anywhere near the box, as highlighted below:

However, one player who reportedly won't be joining the Gunners is Chelsea goalkeeper Cech. As reported by Greg Stobart of Goal.com, the Blues "are determined not to sell to Arsenal as they fear strengthening a rival for the Premier League title next season."

Wenger may be tempted to keep David Ospina as his No. 1, but Stobart believes the manager is "actively looking" for a new first-team regular to slot between the sticks. Arsenal have the fifth best defence in the Premier League, but they need to tighten up if they're to improve next season.

The upcoming transfer window promises to be a memorable one for the club, particularly when considering Wenger signed world-class players such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez across the last two summers. Moura or Brahimi would settle well at the north London club.
