This Volkswagen New Beetle (1998-2010) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2003 Volkswagen New Beetle GL was initially sold in Arizona and remained registered in the state with the original owner until 2023. Now showing 192k miles, it is finished in blue over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 1.9-liter turbodiesel inline-four mated to a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, 16″ steel wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, and a CD/cassette stereo. The selling dealer acquired the car in December 2023 and this New Beetle is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Arizona title.
The car is finished in blue and features power-adjustable mirrors, tinted windows, and a roof-mounted fixed antenna. Close-up photos presented in the gallery show faded VW badges and chips and cracked paint on the front bumper cover.
Steel 16″ wheels with aftermarket silver covers are mounted with 205/55 Michelin Defender T+H tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The front bucket seats and folding rear bench are trimmed in gray cloth. A carpeted mat covers the dashboard and amenities include air conditioning, power windows, and a cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. Wear is visible on the driver seat bolster and door panel upholstery.
The three-spoke airbag steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel level gauge. The digital odometer indicates 192k miles.
The 1.9-liter turbodiesel inline-four was factory rated at 100 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque. The air conditioning refrigerant was recharged in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Arizona from new.
