Description
Português: No município Ilha Grande do Piauí se mantém vivo o tradicional ofício de rendar com bilros, instrumento de madeira com uma semente de mucunã na ponta. As rendeiras de Ilha Grande se organizaram atualmente na Associação das Rendeiras dos Morros da Mariana. A Casa das Rendeiras naquela localidade é aberta para visitações durante todo o dia, onde se pode assistir o tecido se formando e admirar a habilidade das mãos que constroem coisas belíssimas, incomparáveis! A entidade é uma das premiadas do Prêmio Top 100 de Artesanato, promovido pelo Sebrae Nacional.
