Dr. Atl portrait by Jose Clemente Orozco

Summary[edit]

Description
English: As explained, the dome mural represents the four elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire, and is also correlated to four major Mexican artists (Dr. Atl and Diego Rivera among them). As you walk in a circle, the figure in the fire shifts from looking like it is laying down, to standing up, Orozco's trick of perspective. Art of José Clemente Orozco at Instituto Cultural Cabañas.
