Foo Fighters pay tribute to Kurt Cobain

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. Countless tributes to the Nirvana frontman have poured in, including one from Foo Fighters, which features former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear. On the band’s Facebook page, they posted a photo of Cobain along with a stream of The Beatles’ “In My Life”. The song, one of Cobain’s all-time favorites, was played during his funeral.

Nirvana is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this week, with Grohl and Krist Novoselic scheduled to be in attendance. It’s unclear whether they’ll perform together during the ceremony. They’re also set to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night during which they’ll sit down for an interview.
