Hancornia speciosa (Mangabeira) is a species of tree in the family Apocynaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to ParaíBa, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Piauí, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Amapá, Ceará, South America, Pará, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Tocantins, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Maranhao, Cerrado, and GoiáS. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pachylia syces, Xylocopa frontalis, Pink-spotted Hawkmoth, and Fadus Sphinx.
