Willem Dafoe, who played the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, has joined the cast of Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League, EW has confirmed. The Hollywood Reporter, which was first to report Dafoe’s casting, notes that he’ll play a “good guy,” but no other details on his role were provided Tuesday. WANT MORE EW? Justice League follows the last month’s box-office smash Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and brings back the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and Man of Steel (Henry Cavill), along with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). The two-parter, which began production last week, also recently added J.K. Simmons to the cast as Commissioner Gordon. Justice League: Part One is scheduled for release on Nov. 17, 2017, with Part Two slated for 2019.
