Red Sox Mike Napoli and Jonny Gomes look just like a cough-drop logo

The makers of Smith Brothers Cough Drops have announced that the company will donate a portion of all sales throughout the World Series to the Jimmy Fund, a charity partnered with the Red Sox that benefits the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

But why? Smith Brothers vice president Mark McCumby explains: “The Jimmy Fund is an extraordinary organization. Mike Napoli and Jonny Gomes look just like the Smith Brothers.”

The original Smith brothers, William and Andrew (but better known as Trade and Mark), ran an ice cream shop in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where they made cough drops and fashioned incredible beards.
