NECA Reveals Its CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON Universal Monsters Action Figure

NECA has revealed the next action figure in its Universal Monsters line, and it’s Creature From The Black Lagoon, also known as simply… The Creature. NECA has done a great job with these Universal Monster figures and I’m loving this new addition! The Creature has always been a favorite monster of mine and this is the action figure it’s always deserved.

While The Creature originally appeared as a Black and White character in the movies, I loved what they’ve done bringing it to life in color.

Most of the monsters that Universal Pictures brought to life in their movies were inspired by classic horror literature, but The Creature was an original concept that was brought o life by producer William Alland, director Jack Arnold, and writers Harry Essex and Arthur Ross. Maurice Zimm came up with the story.

Here’s the description of the Figure from NECA: “The debut of Universal’s 1954 film The Creature from the Black Lagoon took audiences deep into the Amazon! This 7” scale Ultimate action figure depicts the mysterious and terrifying Creature in extraordinary detail. It comes with three extra pairs of hands, and three interchangeable head sculpts. Display-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.”
