Mimulus fruticosus

"Monkey Flower." Very rare version of the plant. Yellow-flowering, forms a dense multi-branching shrub that gets 4-5' tall and 2-3' wide. Forms an evergreen thicket of linear mint-green leaves 1-2" wide and 8-10" long. The 1.5" yellow flowers bloom in clusters and have red spotting. Blooming season starts in late spring and goes into late summer. Sun to part sun. Medium water.
