The New Perks and Mini x PUMA Collaboration Is a Love Letter to the Great Outdoors
Coming with new footwear and an initiative that looks to project threatened wild places on the planet.
PUMA and Perks and Mini have just presented a new collaboration and it stands up for the environment.
Traditionally, P.A.M. is a brand that specializes in creating high-quality garments — made from premium Italian fabrics — with both functionality and athleticism in mind for life in the great outdoors. For example, P.A.M.’s regular collaborations with MAAP on vibrant cycling gear are proof of that. However, while the P.A.M.’s new collaboration with PUMA is somewhat, more of the same, this new drop unveils a collection of clothing that strives to encapsulate city living, but in an outdoor format.
The collection introduces 20 different styles which include elevated basics such as fleece jackets and sweaters, cargo trousers T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, and jackets — and each style adopts a color palette that aligns itself with nature. Tones such as purple, lavender, green, and copper are all used and each color applies itself to one aspect of the outdoors; whether that’s tall trees, wildlife, or night skies.
Functionality is once again key from P.A.M and PUMA, as the collection includes a variety of accessories such as a new bottle bag set along with a melange of backpacks and a new footwear selection that features two trail running shoes, clogs, and classic sneakers.
The collaboration also marks the start of a project that rises above fashion: the P.A.M./PUMA/BIOVERSE. The project has been launched in an attempt to protect threatened wild places on the planet, with the latter being the same places that were used as design inspiration for the collection.
You can take a closer look at the Perks and Mini x PUMA collaboration above and it will be available on the official PUMA and Perks and Mini websites from November 5.
