“Paris-Moscou” is Karl Lagerfeld’s theme for his semi-annual collection for 2009. With strong Russian inspirations of Ballet Russes, Constructivism, Faberge eggs jewellery and Russian folklore, the tone was set for Lagerfeld’s fashion, accessories and beauty line.

I must add that the bag collection is absolutely fabulous. Just think ruby red lacquered bags are adorned with Faberge eggs swinging from its gilded chains  or psedo-revolutionary Chanel badges and bags in the shape of the iconic Russian dolls.
