Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Jr. Powers Pedro Veniss Past the Competition at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud CSI 3*

Grimaud, France – May 04, 2023 – Pedro Veniss (BRA) powered past the competition towards victory on Thursday at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud – Saint Tropez CSI 3* & CSI 2*. Veniss rode Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior towards victory in the €26,200 Hubside Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*, the first major class of the second week of Spring Tour II at the renowned venue along the French Riviera.

Going up against some of the best in France and also from other parts of the world, the Brazilian was supreme aboard the 2009 Oldenburg stallion (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7), completing the first and second phase of the 1.45m challenge in flawless fashion, stopping the final timers in 33.31 seconds.

Julien Gonin (FRA) & Valou du Lys

A French win was spoiled by the great rider from South America, however the host nation claimed the next two highest spots on the podium. Julien Gonin (FRA) guided Valou du Lys (Calvaro F.C. x Galoubet A) to a second-place just over one second slower than the winners (34.36s).

Cédric Hurel (FRA) & Fantasio Floreval Z

Cédric Hurel (FRA) and Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de La Vie x Clinton) were also fault-free all the way to the wire, rounding out the top thre in 34.57 seconds.
