There were all sorts of big "Bowls" happening in America yesterday, from that lil' game where the NY Giants beat the New England Patriots (by a butt!) or the cute-as-can-be Puppy Bowl (starring an Angeleno pup). But there was also the Lingerie Bowl, and the Los Angeles Temptation made league history as they took their third consecutive championship by defeating the Philadelphia Passion 28-6 in Lingerie Bowl IX.

For the uninitiated, the Lingerie Bowl is just about what it sounds like: Ladies in lot less fabric than their male NFL counterparts take to the field for professional football match-ups.

The Los Angeles Examiner has a full recap of the L.A. versus Philly game as played in Las Vegas Sunday, and, once again, the Temptation are bringing the trophy home to L.A. Psst: The Pioneer Press has a full photo set.
