Brooklyn Net and former Chelan Goat, Joe Harris, scored a career high 30 points in a Sunday (3/25/18) matchup against former teammate LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James scored a game high 37 and led his team to the win, but it was a breakout game for Harris. Harris also established a career high for three-point baskets hitting 6-7 from deep and overall shot a blistering 11-14 from the field with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 27 minutes of action.

A 2010 graduate of Chelan, Harris was a four-year starter for the Goats and as a senior was named the Washington State Gatorade Player of the Year and was also selected as Mr. Basketball by the Washington State Coaches Association.

Harris played his college ball under Tony Bennett at the University of Virginia and in his senior year was the ACC Tournament MVP.

Drafted in the second round of the NBA draft by Cleveland, Harris was signed two years by Brooklyn as a free agent and has blossomed this season into playing a key role off the bench for the Nets.

Harris will be a free agent at the end of the season and is expected to draw a considerable amount of interest from the Nets and many other NBA teams.
