FC Cincinnati exercise buyout on goalkeeper Vermeer

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - FC Cincinnati have exercised their one buyout of a guaranteed contract on Kenneth Vermeer, the club announced Tuesday.

The goalkeeper will no longer occupy a spot on the team’s roster or count against the 2023 salary budget, retroactive to March 9, 2023.

Vermeer was acquired in May 2021 and made 19 league appearances with the Orange and Blue, posting four clean sheets.
