The admission for the Southeast Asia’s biggest sand festival is FREE! It’s a sandsational fun time at Sentosa for Marvel fanatics like myself. I’m so amazed with the talent, effort, and time to put up the 15 iconic MARVEL that are made of sand. And they aren’t miniature, some even reach a height of 5.5 metres and a length of 9.1 metres.

Sculpted by the internationally acclaimed JOOheng Tan and his team of international sand sculptors, Sentosa Sandsation – MARVEL Edition featured popular MARVEL icons from the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and other Superheroes and even Thanos.

While you stroll towards the end of Siloso beach where the Sandsation is, you’ll pass by one of the most Instagrammable thing at this year’s Sandsation, a stunning 200 ft wide mural of MARVEL’s The Avengers.

This yearly event is for everyone, there’s even Sand Sculpting Workshops for the kids. You can also witness sculptors in action, making their entry for the Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship.

Plus, you can catch your favourite MARVEL movies by the beach. MARVEL blockbusters like the Iron Man trilogy, Captain America: The First Avenger, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers and more will be playing at Palawan Green from 2 to 9 September and 15 to 16 September at 7.45pm.
