An Evening of Jan Vermeer, Dutch Baroque Master

Please join the registered student organization Society of Art Historians on April 10 for "A Tale of Two Canvases: Vermeer's Astronomer and Geographer" a presentation given by Wayne Franits, professor of art history at Syracuse University. Franits is a Dutch Baroque specialist. He will lecture on Dutch Baroque master Jan Vermeer and two of his works, Astronomer and Geographer.
Franits' lecture will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Room 213 of the Fine Arts Building. This event is free and open to all current University of Arkansas students as supported by the Associated Student Government through the office of student activities and funded by the student activities fee.
