The sad, yet uplifting, tale of these twin Olympians with boob jobs

Synchronized swimmers Bia and Branca Feres are identical twins in every way — including their matching boob jobs.

The 28-year-olds will represent the host country of Brazil during Thursday’s team synchronized swimming event, but their careers in the pool were almost over before they ever really began when they went under the knife in 2011.

At the time, the twins were aspiring actresses and MTV VJs after they rose to fame in their native Brazil while trying to make the 2008 Olympic team.

The twins did not make the Olympic team for Beijing, but were able to leverage their stunning good looks into enough media and modeling gigs that they decided to retire from swimming in 2011 and get breast enhancement surgeries.

Apparently, the surgery did the trick, and they soon landed a Trident gum commercial in which they flashed their new assets.

Now, they’re back in the pool as two of the Brazilian team’s most recognizable faces, having recently been featured in ads for Samsung and Adidas.

According to Adidas, the pair prepped for Thursday’s event by training eight hours a day, six days a week, where they practiced swimming, weight training, flexibility, and choreography

Besides the ads, TV hosting gigs, and Olympic-level swimming talent, the twins also have an incredibly popular joint Instagram account that has gained more than 400,000 followers.
