Affair with Juliette Lewis led to Rage Against the Machine drummer’s divorce, his wife says

The estranged wife of Bradley Wilk, the drummer for rock group Rage Against the Machine, claims his affair with actress Juliette Lewis led to their divorce.

Selene Vigil-Wilk has now filed to restart divorce proceedings, which the pair had called off in 2013, according to court documents obtained by Page Six via The Blast. She had originally filed for divorce earlier that year after allegedly learning Brad had an affair with a Las Vegas woman, but they decided to attempt a reconciliation after they had figured out a new living arrangement where she raised the kids while Brad toured.

However, in December 2015, Brad, 50, and Selene, 53, went to the Brentwood Country Mart where he told her he wanted a divorce. “Shortly thereafter,” the family went on a Christmas vacation and Selene thought all was well once again.

In early 2016, Brad began touring with Lewis’ band.

“He left and they went on tour for several months with her and the band,” she alleges in the documents. “I later discovered that he was having an affair with her … In late 2016, Brad returned to Los Angeles and informed me that he wanted to set up a mediation. He said that he was moving in with Juliette Lewis.”

Brad set up an appointment for mediation in 2017, but it never took place.

“In November 2017, I finally realized that I could not continue in a marriage like this,” she writes. “I told Brad that I was going to pursue the divorce.”

Brad has yet to respond to the motion. He has been dating Lewis since 2016 and they still perform together.

Brad and Selene married in December 2005 and share two children, 12-year-old son Luka Wilk and 10-year-old son Alexander Wilk.

Selene states Brad earned $2.2 million in 2017 and thinks he should pay $30,124 per month in temporary spousal support and $17,772 per month in temporary child support.

She is also seeking $100,000 in attorney fees and $50,000 for a forensic accountant.
