The actress and dancer, 57, wed jeweler Albert DePrisco in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Two days before their wedding, Niemi told PEOPLE she couldn’t wait to get married. “What I most look forward to on my wedding day is walking up, standing at our altar, and looking into his most incredible, twinkling eyes,” she said. “I cannot think of a bigger treat than that.” The couple, who got engaged last December, were married in an intimate ceremony at The Mar-a-Lago Club in front of more than 50 guests. Niemi wore a gown designed by Oscar de la Renta, which she bought at Casa de Novia in Houston, while DePrisco, 58, wore an Ermenegildo Zegna dinner jacket with custom slacks. White roses and green/white hydrangeas surrounded the bride and groom, who were serenaded with Haydn and Mozart by a string quartet put together by Niemi’s nephew, Will, and his wife Heidi, both concert violinists. “We wanted it fresh and happy,” Niemi told PEOPLE. At the reception, Niemi looked forward to celebrating with their guests. “I have some hilarious friends. I’m sure there will be some fun toasts!” she said. “Later on we’ll dance to everything from Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell, to 70’s classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in.” Niemi lost her husband of 34 years, actor Patrick Swayze to pancreatic cancer in September 2009.
