The Handmaid’s Tale star broke the marriage news on the red carpet before Sunday’s Emmy awards, gushing about the big day with a smile alongside her new husband Tim Loden. “We ended up jumping in the lake in our suit and gown, it was ridiculously hot,” the Australian actress said, noting that they wed over the summer during a heat wave. “But we had a great time.” Loden remarked: “We all made it through and did some dancing. It was fantastic.” The love birds usually keep their relationship private, but Strahovski couldn’t help but smile as she confirmed the wedding news. Strahovski plays the no-nonsense Serena Joy, wife of Commander Fred, in the show.
