During a conversation about former president Donald Trump's ongoing legal issues, the EGOT winner interrupted co-host Sunny Hostin to address a man sitting in the stands at the live ABC News show. "Hold on a sec, hold on," Goldberg, 68, said, getting up from her seat. "Sir, I have to stop you with the camera, ‘cause I can see you," she calmly and politely told the man. "So do me a favor, don’t pull it out again." PEOPLE reached out to a rep for The View for comment, but audience members are told during pre-show that they're not allowed to take pictures or record video during the entirety of the taping of talk shows. A source on the scene told PEOPLE Tuesday the audience member Goldberg was speaking to stayed to enjoy the rest of the show.
