Claudio Taffarel is the goalkeeper for Classic Brazil alongside Leao. He is of German and Italian descent and he is known as Taralm because of poor licensing. He is widely regarded as Brazil's best ever goalkeeper and has been their number one for 3 World Cups. He can only be used after winning the World Cup with Brazil in Cup Mode; International Superstar Soccer 98 and its PSX counterpart are the only games where he is regularly playable, as he retired from the Brazilian team following the 1998 World Cup.
