Stevie Wonder Says He’s Getting a Kidney Transplant

He revealed that he’ll play three more concerts before undergoing the procedure this September

Stevie Wonder has revealed that he is getting a kidney transplant this September, The Associated Press reports. He made the announcement yesterday (July 6) during a British Summer Time concert in London’s Hyde Park. According to The AP, Wonder said that he will play three more shows before he takes a break prior to surgery. In addition, he stated that he has a kidney donor.
