Vetiver is an aromatic grass that grows more than 6 feet high but it’s roots are the treasure. The name comes from “vetiver,” a Tamil word meaning “root that is dug up. An aromatic root, Vetiver has been used for perfuming all over the world. In India, the roots are woven into door and window screens.
