Kristi Leskinen

Freeskiier

Kristi Leskinen constantly pushes the limits of freeskiing and is one of the top athletes in the sport. When she was 19, she met Olympic Freestyle Champion Jonny Moseley, who gave the newcomer a pair of twin tips. Following in his footsteps, Leskinen later helped make history at the 2005 X Games in the women’s skiing superpipe as it was the first time the discipline appeared at the X Games.

Headlining sports is nothing new for the ABC’s Superstars winner. At her first U.S. Open in 1999, Leskinen was the only woman competing in the Big Air event, and one of only a handful of participants in the women’s skier pipe. The sport is now much bigger, thanks to Leskinen, who regularly serves as a sport and product spokesperson.
