This is quite possibly one of the games I didn't expect to see get Steam Deck support officially, but you won't hear me complain! Earlier today, Postal 2 got a major update for its 20th anniversary, adding in a plethora of new content and QoL fixes. On top of all of that though, it was also given improved Steam Deck compatibility!

While the update didn't specify what changes were made to improve Deck support, it is still great to see it being worked on! With a full controller layout for the Steam Deck, as well as 16:10 resolution support, this will be a great game to play on the device. With Postal 2 being an older game, I wasn't worried much about performance, which already runs fantastic, but it's still nice to see!

On top of Steam Deck support, the new update implements the fan-made xPatch, with brings a wealth of fixes of QoL improvements, a new game mode (for Paradise Lost), a new difficulty, expanded customization, and so much more! You can check out the full changelog on Steam.
