Dexter Morgan is coming back to screen

The TV series Dexter, based on a book series of the same name, is coming to screen again.
The book series following a serial killer named Dexter by Jeff Lindsay was very popular. It started with 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' in 2004 and ended with 'Dexter Is Dead' in 2015.
The series had an interesting premise, Dexter would only kill those who had committed a terrible crime but managed to escape the justice system, such as other killers or rapists.Due to his strong code, he's sometimes considered a kind of anti-hero which raised debates about the ethics and message of the series, particularly when it was adapted for screen
The books were adapted into a TV show that was so popular that it went on for eight seasons. Now it has been announced that there will be another season! The plot and details haven't been shared but we know that Michael C. Hall will be playing Dexter once again and that production should begin later this year, so a tentative broadcast date could be in late 2021.
