Creeping herb with long spaces between nodes, papery leaves, 3 to 5 flowers born on a short raceme. Botanical description Schultes pg 192.

Habitat:

Terrestrial to epiphytic growth at the base of small trees in the Aripo Savannah - a tropical grassland with expanses of grassland interspersed with clumps of small shrubs and stands of large palm trees. Altitude is 130 to 300 metres above sea level.
