Second-year player expects to compete for playing time at Will linebacker in 2021 . . . 2020 SEASON: Received COVID-19 season of competition waiver . . . appeared in five games as a true freshman in 2020 (at Army, at South Alabama, vs. Appalachian State, at Georgia State and vs. Ragin’ Cajuns . . . worked behind KeyShawn Johnson and Hunter Smith at Mike linebacker . . . finished the season with seven tackles (3 solos, 4 assists) . . . earned his first career start in the home finale against the Ragin’ Cajuns and produced a season-high six tackles (2 solos, 4 assists), including a half tackle for loss . . . credited with a solo stop vs. Appalachian State . . .
