Christina Aguilera posed against a smoky background in glittering black sand to announce her new Las Vegas residency. As seen on her Instagram on Monday, the singer wore a black Mônot corset, black Jimmy Choo pumps and a diamond necklace from David Mor to promote her new project.
The photo was shot by Alex Loucas. To create her look, Aguilera worked with her go-to stylist Chris Horan, who also works with Charli CXC, Hari Nef and Troye Sivan.
Aguilera’s new Las Vegas residency is set to take place at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas starting New Year’s Eve weekend. The show will feature Aguilera performing two decades of hit songs from her extensive catalogue.
“I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication and art in ways I have never performed before,” Aguilera said in a statement. “What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience…a truly modern twist on the performance experience.”
While only the New Year’s Eve weekend dates of the show have been announced so far, on Oct. 13, further show dates will be unveiled when all the tickets go on sale.
Mônot designer Eli Mizrahi launched the brand in 2019, and in just a few short years, he’s managed to procure major stockists, including The Webster, Fwrd and Moda Operandi. He’s dressed notable celebrities, including Dove Cameron, Ciara and Demi Lovato, too.
“Mônot collaborated with Christina’s stylist Chris Horan to incorporate sleek lines that define the feminine figure while remaining tasteful,” Mizrahi said to WWD. “The look is a Mônot signature, and Christina did the look justice while looking amazing.”
In March, WWD reported Aguilera joined sexual wellness brand Playground as a cofounder and chief brand adviser. The brand offers FDA-approved, water-based, skin care-infused lubricants.
