Diane Kruger usually looks like this. But a few weeks ago, when I ran into the actress at the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards, her hair was pulled back tight and looked, well, how do I say this...kind of orange. Check it out.
I asked her if it was for a role, and she confessed that DIY disasters aren't just for mere mortals. "Oh, my God," said Kruger. "I hadn't colored my hair in six months, and I had been away working for two months. I'm in New York, and it looked a little dull, so I just thought, I'll go to CVS and buy a gloss. Only it turned my hair a dark mud brown. I called anybody that I know in New York who could help me. Serge Normant literally saved me this morning. And now it's still slightly red, but it's getting better. I have to keep going back. The woman at the salon who is helping me said it's going to take three visits."
A week later, I ran into Kruger again at Fashion Group International's Night of Stars. She claimed she wasn't yet back to normal, but she looked pretty good to me. I guess it's nice to have a hair god on speed dial.
