These velvet scrunchies by Penny's Boutique are beautiful, the pictures cannot do them justice. I have purchased 7 so far and the quality is amazing. I've had long hair for more than 20 years so I have gone through a lot of scrunchies and these are the BEST I have have ever used. The one I have had the longest over 1 years is unchanged since I got it. It has not stretched out at all. It has not faded in color. They do not feel heavy on my head. They stay put without being too tight and without pulling my hair. I aim to purchase 10 more simply because these are fantastic quality, colors, softness and function that I love. They hold in my regular thickness straight long hair (my hair falls just below my center back when down). I use the size Large because I like the "fluffy look". I do have 1 Jumbo size which does work but I found the Large works better for my hair thickness (not thick hair but not thin, my hair is long and naturally very straight). I only have to "twist and fold over once" with the Large size and it stays in place even while active like play with my dogs outside or while at work. The inside diameter makes the difference on how it will work for a pony tail/bun/messy up doo on different hair types. These Penny's Boutique velvet scrunchies are amazing, I love them and I hope they continue making them.

I've now purchased three of her scrunchies- two in Large and one in Regular. The large is definitely huge when you wear it on your wrist! I have long, thick but straight hair and this is perfect. I honestly don't know how I lived before these!! They hold all my hair up without falling out constantly like a normal little scrunchie, and don't pull on any strands or sections so I can have a snatched pony without worrying about a headache or hair loss. SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

im wearing these things to try to save my damaged hair and i thought this one would pull out of my hair easily but evidently i wasnt aware of the physics of velvet and human hair, it sticks a lot. For someone with heavy silky hair that has a hard time keeping hair ties in place, this would work, for me it just tore my thin damaged hair. i tossed it.
