It’s out with the old and in with the new for Olivia Wilde. Following the purchase of a $6 million Studio City ranch in July, the actor and director has officially offloaded the Silver Lake abode that she once shared with her ex, Jason Sudeikis. According to Robb Report, the 1920s hacienda changed hands in an off-market deal for $4.2 million. The former couple snatched up the quaint 2,833-square-foot home in 2019 for $3.5 million—almost $150,000 over asking price—after just two weeks on the market. When the pair ended their nine-year relationship in 2020, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom LA property went to Wilde, while Sudeikis claimed their Brooklyn townhouse, which the exes purchased in 2014 for $6.5 million.

Overlooking the Silver Lake Reservoir, the cream stucco-sided dwelling was built in 1928 by one of LA’s first female architects, Frankie Faulkner. In 2016, the interior was overhauled with modern finishes by DISC Interiors, though some of its period charms, including casement windows and a barrel-vaulted ceiling, remain intact.

Equipped with a sleek fireplace and a neutral palette, the main floor living area offers a serene place to admire the reservoir through a massive arched window. Nearby, a compact eat-in kitchen features limestone counters, an island with a breakfast bar, and custom blonde wood cabinetry. A high-end cream-colored range with gold hardware is the focal point, situated below a white tile backsplash.

Downstairs, a guest suite comes complete with a wet bar and its own private entrance. The remaining three bedrooms are located on the top floor, including a primary suite with a walk-in closet, a bathroom featuring a double vanity, and a soaking tub with a window view. A patio facing the front of the structure can be found on top of the two-car garage, offering a peaceful spot to sit in the sun. In the landscaped backyard, a saltwater pool with an inset spa is surrounded by a stone-paved terrace and bordered by a small lawn.
