Michal Zaborowski

Michal Zaborowski (Born 1960) is active/lives in Poland.  Michal Zaborowski is known for Painting.

He studied at the Faculty of Painting Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in prof. Ludwik Maciag's class in 1985.  One of his first solo exhibitions took place in the Zapiecek Gallery in Warsaw (1987), in the same year he received the gold medal at the Biennial of Sacred Art in Gorzow.  He showed his works in major European and American galleries.

He paints large-format figural characters and scenes full of dynamism and movement, which emphasizes the asymmetry of the composition.  The scene sometimes make mere continuation of already out of the canvas.  Uses saturated colors and chiaroscuro contrast.  His works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia and South Africa.
