Two key Barça veterans who were part of the team's recent success still don't know wheter or not they'll stay at Barcelona. And a young piece is leaving the Blaugrana.

According to Catalunya Ràdio, Xavi Hernández, the legendary Barça midfielder, has decided to leave. There were rumours about him going to Qatar, but it seems like that's not happening. That doesn't mean he'll stay at Barça. The radio report now says that Xavi is close to signing with new MLS expansion team, New York City FC. If he indeed signs with the Yanks, he'll join former Barça and Spain striker David Villa and former Chelsea star Frank Lampard, who have already joined the MLS side. But there's also the possibility of him staying at Barça, although that's a very narrow one.

Dani Alves, another great Blaugrana, was strongly linked with moves after the end of the season. He went to the World Cup and it was almost a certainty that he was leaving Brazil to another team, probably Paris Saint-Germain. But those rumours are almost gone now, as no negotiations happened during the tournament, and it seems like Alves has changed his mind. During interviews after Brazil's loss to Germany, Alves said he might stay after all. "I'll meet with the board, see what they think of me. I have another year left on my contract, and I want to stay. But it's not just me. I need to see if they want me back. If they do, I'll stay. That simple".

Another transfer involving a Barça player is close to happening, according to Mundo Deportivo. Cristian Tello and Porto have a deal, and now it's up to Barcelona to negotiate the transfer fee. Porto offered €8 million, but Barça wants €12 million. Porto says they could add a €4 million performance bonus. Barça liked the offer, and they can reach an agreement still this week.
