Square Enix announces re-master of Final Fantasy XII for PS4

Video game publisher Square Enix has announced the HD re-master of Final Fantasy XII.
The HD version of one of the most celebrated Final Fantasy games ever will be release on PlayStation 4 in 2017.
The game was originally released in 2006 and was met with overwhelming critical praise.
It became the sixth game in history to receive a perfect score from Japanese magazine Famitsu.
A new trailer for the 2017 release of the game has been revealed, showcasing the game's shiny new graphics.

Final Fantasy XII follows the story of Princess Ashe, adventurer Vaan and a cast of memorable characters in the world of Ivalice.
The game was notable for the freedom it gave players to customise each character's skills in battle, meaning none of the motley crew played a pre-determined role in battle.
It was also praised for its ambitious storyline of warring nations and the band of freedom fighters trying to protect their homeland caught in the crossfire.
The full title of the re-master is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. It includes a new 'job' system which was never available in Western release.
This advanced version allowed even deeper customisation of characters' abilities.
It was previously announced that Final Fantasy VII would be re-made from scratch for re-release.
A Final Fantasy X re-master was released in the UK on 15 May 2015.
A brand new game in the series, Final Fantasy 15, will be released on 30 September 2016.
The trailer was revealed ahead of this year's E3 gaming conference, which takes place on 14-16 June 2016.
