Gemma Atkinson has been busy promoting her new book in a trip to ITV headquarters today, where she was interviewed by Lorraine Kelly. Now, Gemma - a mum-of-two - has shared an Instagram Story as she admitted she doesn't want to leave her brood again.
The ITV Emmerdale star posted on Instagram via her Story. "I can't wait to get home though, I'm not going to lie. It's my third night away," she said. She went on: "Mia was a bit upset because she thought I was home tonight... She said 'Will you pick me up from school?' but I've got a meeting after my slot on Lorraine so I won't be able to but I said, 'I'll try. Mummy will try!'
"And i thought, I'm not going to be home until after but hey ho." After her ITV Lorraine interview, Gemma - who shares Mia and Thiago with Gorka Marquez - spoke out on the train as she caught an Avanti West Coast service back to Manchester from London.

She said: "I'm on my way home, so excited to get up north, see the kids, see Gorks, Norman and Ollie. Three days is a lot to be away. I don't want to do it again. I'm not doing three days again." Signing off, the soap star - who met Gorka on Strictly Come Dancing - said: "No chance."
Gemma also shared details of her outfit via her Instagram Grid. She typed: "Thanks for all your lovely messages about my interview! And thanks to everyone who’s ordered the book, very much appreciated. Lots of you have asked about my skirt from today, styled as usual by @ryankaystyles."
Gemma and Gorka marked their six-year anniversary earlier this week. The pair enjoyed a trip out to Manchester where they dined and drank at Sexy Fish.
