While exact figures vary depending on the engine and trim level, the 2023 Silverado 1500 offers a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 lbs and a maximum payload rating of 2,260 lbs. To get that max towing figure, you must choose either the 6.2L V8 or the 3.0L Duramax. However, even the base Silverado with the 2.7L Turbo can still handle up to 9,500 lbs of towing capacity.
