Congrats are in order for Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard! The couple—she's a supermodel; he's a wide receiver for the New York Giants—married last night at an iconic hotel in Beverly Hills. While their wedding was truly over-the-top (think flowers upon flowers!), it came together in just under three months.

That might feel like a short time to plan such a star-studded wedding—guests included Chrissy Teigen, Gabrielle Union, Odell Beckham Jr., Tiffany Haddish, and Shanina Shaik—it really doesn't come as a surprise after Sterling's perfectly planned proposal. The groom popped the question in December, on Chanel's 27th birthday, with not one but two surprise plans! First: He staged a romantic scene at their apartment and proposed on a balcony overlooking the New York City skyline. "It was magical," Chanel recalls. And after, he gathered all their friends and family for a surprise birthday party!

Just three months later, on March 3, 2018, Sterling and Chanel again gathered their friends and family—this time in Los Angeles, where the bride grew up. The couple leaned on wedding planner Mindy Weiss to coordinate the logistics and bring their vision to life in such a short time. She succeeded in creating a beautifully classic scene, and the couple married in a romantic garden ceremony before celebrating with a flower-filled ballroom reception. Keep reading for all the exclusive details on Sterling and Chanel's dream day!

The bride asked celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson to coordinate her bridal look. "We've worked together for over five years so she has a real understanding of what I gravitate towards," Chanel explains. "I really love simple, elegant silhouettes and I really wanted to find a classic gown for my ceremony." Anita presented options to Chanel, and the Victoria's Secret Angel ultimately said yes to a stunning wedding dress by Zuhair Murad, a Lebanese fashion designer she has worn several times on the red carpet. "I feel very lucky to have gotten married in one of his gorgeous creations," she says.

Chanel's dream dress featured a statement-making cape, something that came as a surprise—even to the bride! "I never really envisioned wearing something like that for my wedding," she says. "But the moment we put it on, we all loved it! It was so chic and unusual but also felt a little vintage." The bride also loved the traditional idea of covering her shoulders for the vows, and completed her look with Neil Lane drop earrings and a veil by Zuhair Murad.

The NFL player opted for a classic uniform for his wedding day: a Boss tux! "Again, we leaned towards something more traditional and timeless for the ceremony," says Chanel. But, of course, the stylish groom had an outfit change later on. Says Chanel, "We threw the rulebook out for the reception and shook things up a little with a fun jacket and shoe change for Sterling before he hit the dance floor!"

Chanel's bridesmaids, including fellow model Jourdan Dunn, wore white gowns by Watters and nude heels by Aldo. "I wanted to keep the palette really clean and fresh," says the bride. "I didn't want to have the outfits compete with the gorgeous, lush surroundings." The bride's mother made beautiful dresses for the flower girls.

The ceremony took place in the property's garden, where the couple exchanged vows beneath a light-covered arbor. And while the space was already gorgeous, Mindy Weiss worked with Mark's Garden to amplify the existing beauty with an abundance of white and pink flowers.

Chanel had the ceremony in mind when she selected her dress. She says, "The fact that it was gorgeous and interesting from the back was something that I really loved, as guests tend to have that view for a portion of the service, something I think often gets overlooked."

Following the ceremony, the bride slipped into a second dress by Zuhair Murad for dinner and dancing. "The pink in the gown and the deep V-neckline really appealed to my more girly side," she says. "It also brought in the theme of rose gold, which is all I wear and the color of my engagement and wedding ring!"

"The ballroom is so beautiful I wanted to keep it as classic as possible," Chanel says. "I wanted a design that I can look back on in 20 years and not be wondering what I was thinking!" She succeeded in that by lining tabletops with lots of candlelight, white satin linens, and low centerpieces featuring white roses and accents of blush. Rose gold chairs completed the space and coordinated with the rose gold-printed menus. "I'm loving rose gold right now," she says.

The night ended with music (complete with violins and horns!) by Wayne Linsey from the Rickey Minor Band.

The couple plans on taking their honeymoon at a later date—"That's the next thing we'll plan," says the bride, laughing—and we can't wait to see photos from that. But for now, cheers to the happy couple!
