If you just bought a 2020 Audi A5 or A5 Sportback and you’re sore about not being able to get the RS or even the S model, Bavarian tuner ABT Sportsline could help you feel a little better about your purchase.

Visually, the tuner offers a brand new rear spoiler (carbon gloss), either 19- or 20-inch wheels (painted dark but with different available finishes), height adjustable suspension springs (lowering the car from 15-40 mm / 0.6 – 1.57 inches), and a few interior mods.

The springs can be fitted to both front-wheel drive and quattro all-wheel drive models, as well as to those that don’t feature Audi’s electronic damper control system.

As for the interior, buyers can opt for a custom start-stop switch cap, shift knob cover and integrated entrance lights with logo projection (the tuner’s logo, not Audi’s).

Thankfully, there are performance upgrades too. For example, if you own a pre-facelift A5 45 TDI model, ABT will increase power from 231 PS (228 HP) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque to 268 PS (264 HP) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft). With these newer models, you can also boost power on 40 TDI (stock 190 PS / 187 HP) or 45 TFSI (stock 265 PS / 261 HP) variants, although these upgrades aren’t ready just yet – ABT engineers are still working on the engine software for the ECU, and further tests need to be carried out.

Last year, we saw a similarly sporty-looking Audi Sportback by ABT (Euro spec), except that was the S5 variant. It had its 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 boosted to 384 PS (379 HP) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque.
