Special edition boxed shirts produced to commemorate the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Adidas introduced special jerseys for the five teams (Argentina, Spain, France, Germany and Mexico). Each set consists of 2 shirts with a TechFit technology player issue shirt for that team to be used at the 2010 World Cup and a retro version of the shirt worn as Argentina won the 1978 World Cup. At the 2010 World Cup when Diego Maradona led the side in South Africa, they progressed against Mexico 3-1 in the Round of 16, only to lose out to Germany 4-0 in the Quarter Final
