Don't be alarmed, but 16th November 2020 marks 30 years since Home Alone was first released. Three decades later, the record-breaking movie is arguably still everyone's first choice festive family film. If it isn't, perhaps have a quiet word, yeah? The actor, who sadly passed away in 2017, appeared in a string of films before playing Peter in Home Alone, including 1981 film Cutter's Way, Big with Tom Hanks and Beaches with Bette Midler. Following the 1990 Christmas movie, he went on to star in the likes of Deceived with Goldie Hawn, Home Alone 2 and HBO drama The Sopranos, which earned him an Emmy in 1999.
